In addition to developing critical research and writing skills preparing content for their presentations, students participating in IYL events also learn how to create dynamic audio-visual presentations, including how to record their own presentation videos, and to speak in public before an audience.  These valuable life and professional skills can be used in many contexts throughout the students’ educational and career paths.
