Engage and Collaborate with Community Leaders

A key component of the IYL process is engaging with local community leaders representing a range of career paths and political perspectives. This interaction provides students to get feedback from people in the real world who bring their unique experiences and knowledge to bear on what the students have to say, and how best to articulate their narratives.  

Beginning in Fall 2019, IYL will seek out prominent public figures from around the country to engage students through video conferencing to discuss the topic in question.
